(Friday, 1 p.m.) is constantly updated.
Munich – FC Bayern is in impressive autumn form after surviving the late summer crisis.
The table lead should now be restored as quickly as possible.
Things are still going a bit rough for Thomas Müller.
Can he start again against Mainz?
Two weeks before the World Cup nomination, Müller is struggling with an unfamiliar situation.
After another corona infection, back problems and a gastrointestinal infection, the 33-year-old does not have the usual rhythm.
"I'm not used to this.
I'm used to my body functioning - and it's only been doing it in stop-and-go mode for the past few weeks and that's of course not satisfactory," said the Bayern Munich leader.
In contrast to the injured captain Manuel Neuer, the 2014 soccer world champion came on as a substitute in the 3-0 win over FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
FC Bayern wants to "pull through the momentum" against Mainz
In the table, Munich are one point behind leaders 1. FC Union Berlin.
Even with a draw, FC Bayern could move back up to the top of the table, which is part of their self-image, at least for one night.
The Berliners welcome Borussia Mönchengladbach on Sunday.
“Of course we want to continue this momentum.
We've been doing a really good job since the international break," said Müller, referring to the Munich crisis a few weeks ago.
"There was still an apocalyptic mood, at least a little attempt was made to prepare in advance if the results should match."
We accompany the press conference with Julian Nagelsmann on Friday from 1 p.m. in the live ticker.
