World football's governing body, Fifa, is very strict on intellectual property, regarding the illegal use of the logo and symbols of the tournament as well as the image of the World Cup.
The first arrests for the sale on social networks of counterfeit products (t-shirts and caps bearing the World Cup-2022 logo) were announced on May 10 by the Qatari authorities.
As early as December 2021, they had inspected a factory and seized perfume to be marketed with the World Cup logo.
Putting this logo on his car's license plate was also banned in Qatar after the auction of special plates.
