Now he seems to be missing the World Cup.

Sadio Mané's World Cup dream has apparently burst.
According to the French trade journal
L'Equipe
, the Bayern star will not be able to play in the upcoming World Cup.
"Mané forfait" is the title of the paper, which means something like "Mané does not appear".
The striker is said to have sustained a tendon injury.
According to the report, Mané will be out for "several weeks".
The World Cup starts on November 20th, so the Senegalese won't have enough time to get fit again.
Initially, however, there was no confirmation from FC Bayern.
Update from November 8, 11:20 p.m .:
There is a first diagnosis for Sadio Mané: The superstar of FC Bayern was injured early on Tuesday evening in Munich’s furious 6: 1 (4: 1) against Werder Bremen and had to after 21 minutes be exchanged.
"He got hit on the head of the shin.
We'll have to x-ray that, it's an uncomfortable spot.
I hope it's nothing serious," said coach Julian Nagelsmann after the game on Sky.
Further investigations on Wednesday should clarify the severity of the injury.
It is not yet clear whether the 30-year-old striker is on the brink for Senegal's first World Cup match against the Netherlands (November 21).

Sadio Mané: Bayern attacker injured against Werder Bremen
First report from November 8th:
Munich – Before the 2022 World Cup (November 20th to December 18th), the German Bundesliga record champions are really in full swing: FC Bayern led Werder Bremen on Tuesday evening (November 8th) in the first half (4:1) and finally won 6:1.
Ultimately, the Hanseatic League had no chance against the Bavarian superiority.
Young star Jamal Musiala (6th minute), speed dribbler Serge Gnabry (22nd/29th) and midfield strategist Leon Goretzka (26th) ensured clear conditions in the first half hour of the south-north duel - despite a goal by Anthony Jung (10th).
The fans in Munich's Allianz Arena were correspondingly euphoric.
However, the joy was clouded by an injury-related substitution after a short period of play.

Mané is considered a revered superstar in his homeland of Senegal.
With the Africa Cup winner, the former Liverpool FC player easily qualified for the Winter World Cup in the emirate.
At the World Cup, the Senegalese national team meets in group A against the Netherlands around Bayern colleague Matthijs de Ligt (November 21), hosts Qatar (November 25) and Ecuador (November 29).
