Didier Deschamps, coach of the world champions, announced this evening (Wednesday) the full squad of the French national team for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, which will open in 11 days.
The French coach summoned 23 players in order to defend the title and win a third trophy in a row.
The one who will not go to Qatar and will have to stay at home, is Real Madrid's defender Ferlan Mendy, who was not called up at the last minute.
Apart from him, the injured Angolo Kante and Paul Pogba, of course, were also not included in the squad.

Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema was included in Deschamps' squad after not being called up to the national team in 2018.
PSG star Kylian Mbappe is also in as is Olivier Giroud and captain Hugo Lloris.
