A taste of the World Cup already reigned on Wednesday evening, in the corridors of
TF1,
when listening to Didier Deschamps reveal his list of 25 players.
From now on, the countdown has started and the lucky ones are only thinking of one thing: arriving at Clairefontaine on Monday in the best possible shape.
By avoiding the injury that would rob them of their childhood dream.
State of play on the program that awaits the French team between now and its first match in Qatar against Australia on November 22.
Between Thursday and Sunday, several elements of the France group will have to negotiate a last league match with their respective club.
Some will wear themselves out, others will play while thinking about the World Cup.
How can you blame them ?
When we see the injury of Sadio Mané, whose package seems very close with Senegal, contracted with Bayern Munich, it is impossible to condemn the will of the selected ones to slow down in the days to come.
Simply human reflex.
The opposite would be akin to worse madness.
And foolish risk taking.

The big start on Wednesday
Once in Clairefontaine on Monday (the meeting is fixed for the end of the morning), the Blues will undergo physical tests under the direction of Doctor Frank Le Gall and his teams.
A first collective session will take place in the green surroundings of the Château, after a press conference by Didier Deschamps and a player scheduled for around 4 p.m.
Suffice to say that it will be rather a light scrubbing on the grounds of Clairefontaine rather than a real pushed session.
Monday at 7 p.m., Didier Deschamps has the obligation to send his final list to Fifa.
He will have the opportunity, like every coach, to make a change until the day before the first match if there is an injury, so November 21.

Tuesday will be of the same ilk on the program side with training and interviews planned with the media.
Before the big departure for Doha on Wednesday morning and an arrival scheduled for the end of the day.
By November 22, the date of entry into the running against Australia, the Blues will train every day in the stadium of the Al Saad club.
Most of the time behind closed doors and therefore out of sight of the curious.
For lack of a preparation worthy of the name, Didier Deschamps counts on these few days on the spot to perfect automatisms.
The countdown is on.
