Practical especially for the long-paused Müller: There is a football training ground right next door.
Doha – The goal is clear: the German national team wants to play for the title at the World Cup in Qatar.
After the not exactly successful dress rehearsal in the friendly against Oman, which the Germans won 1-0, Hansi Flick and his team now have to really get going.
Of course, the World Cup quarters also play a major role - the place where Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer and Co. can recover, relax and prepare for their games.

The DFB has booked a luxurious hotel for its team: the "Zulal Wellness Resort", which only opened this year.

The hotel is located in Al-Ruwais, on the north coast.
It takes about an hour to get to downtown Doha.
The national team's training sessions take place at the premier league Al-Shamal SC stadium, which is just a few minutes from the hotel.
Oliver Bierhoff, the managing director of the German national team, and his team went in search of suitable accommodation in advance and examined several locations.
He is enthusiastic about the "Zulal Wellness Resort": "We want to offer our team the best possible conditions for a successful tournament.
With the selection of this facility, we have fulfilled almost all of our requirements and needs for a team hotel," he says and explains: "During the intensive World Cup period, it always offers the opportunity to switch off from the games away from the hustle and bustle.
There we can focus completely on our big task, work with concentration and regenerate.”
Hansi Flick speaks of an "optimal Team Base Camp"
Hansi Flick also feels at home in the “Zulal Wellness Resort”: “Our early qualification for the World Cup helped us enormously when looking for accommodation.
In Al-Ruwais we have everything we need for an optimal Team Base Camp: a short journey to the Al-Shamal training ground, the best training conditions to be able to work in a concentrated and intensive manner, and a wonderful ambience in the hotel,” says the trainer .
This mix of training opportunities and recreational opportunities is ideal for Müller in particular.
Because he is still in the regeneration phase, he has been rested a lot at FC Bayern lately.
Other players from the Bayern squad took his place.
It is still unclear whether Müller is a regular player at the World Cup or not.
Unfortunately, the fans don't have the opportunity to get to know Thomas Müller and his teammates personally at their hotel.
Because the football stars live in their own area, which is separated from the rest of the hotel business.
However, Müller already posted a photo of the team in front of the hotel on Instagram in his stories so that his fans could at least get a little insight.
