Today, the Martyr Nasih Alwani Sports Hall in Hama hosted the matches of the first round of the middle group competitions of the basketball league championship for the youth category under 18 years.
The first match resulted in Al-Nawair defeating Mahrada with a score of 59-23 points, while in the second match, Al-Tali’a defeated Al-Karama 60-27 points.
The matches of the second round of this group are scheduled to be held next Saturday, where Hama Mahrada will play with Al-Tali’a, while Al-Karama will meet with Al-Wathba in Homs.
Five clubs participate in the middle group competitions, playing back and forth to determine the first four positions, as the first and second qualify for the quarter-finals of the league championship directly, while the third and fourth qualify for the quarter-final play-offs.
