The official fan club of the German national football team canceled its participation in a fan tournament at short notice as part of the World Cup in Qatar – because it is not allowed to compete with a mixed team of men and women.
A spokesman for the German National Team Fan Club told the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung: "Upon request, we were informed that only same-sex teams were allowed to compete.
