A few hours before kick-off, Moroccan airline Royal Air Maroc canceled flights between Casablanca and Doha.
The reason: supporters had not received their tickets for the game.

The airline said the cancellation of flights operated by Qatar Airways was "due to the latest restrictions imposed by the Qatari authorities," without giving specific reasons.
The failures affect 2100 passengers, it is said.
The Morocco fans were assured "that the tickets are available at Doha airport," said one fan. The Moroccan football association FRMF had promised them tickets that would be distributed at the airport to "the people who board the RAM flights arrived.
After that, we were asked to go to Al-Janoub Stadium, but we didn't find anything."
