A tribute will be paid to Pelé before the matches of the 18th day of the English football championship, which begins Friday with Liverpool-Leicester and West Ham-Brentford, announced the Premier League the day after the death of the Brazilian "King".
Players and referees will wear black armbands and a minute of applause will be observed before kick-off, while a photo of Pelé will be shown on stadium screens.
It will be the black and white photo taken with the club of Santos, in which he smiles and wears a collar with a cross, the Premier League's press service told AFP.
This photo was taken before the semi-final of the Paris tournament played against Racing Club de France, at the Parc des Princes, on June 13, 1961.
The former Brazilian footballer, soccer legend and only winner of three World Cups, died on Thursday at the age of 82.
His disappearance sparked a wave of emotion and tributes across the world as Brazil began a three-day national mourning.
