The SC Riessersee celebrates a perfect end of the year.
In the derby against the Tölzer Löwen, the parade series of the white-blues around Robin Soudek, Lubor Dibelka and Kevin Slezak turns up the heat.
Bad Tölz
– With the derbies at SC Riessersee it has been a thing so far.
Two defeats in Peiting, still without a win against the Starbulls Rosenheim and of course the painful 2:4 home defeat against the Tölzer Löwen are part of the unfortunate record.
So it was high time to end the old year with a smile - including the usual little interlude with the fans.
And indeed: The SCR presented itself extremely effectively in the Hacker-Pschorr Arena, which was packed with 4014 spectators, set the tone in the majority and accordingly won with 5:2.
The second ten minutes in the first third were decisive for the result.
The nimble parade series of Garmisch-Partenkirchner laid the foundation for the later threesome.
With Lubor Dibelka's keen eye, which led to two goals being involved, and of course the double goal scorer Robin Soudek.
First and foremost, however, it was Kevin Slezak's return from sick leave that made the triumvirate back to what it lacked against Rosenheim: a top series.
Slezak submitted for the SCR.
Immediately in front of Philip Lehr, he deflected Simon Mayr's flick into an untenable deflection for the ECT goalie to make it 1-0.
It was Lehr who involuntarily provided a slapstick insert.
Christopher Chyzowski brought the puck to the goal, Lehr circled it through the catch hand and knocked it on the crossbar.
There was a murmur everywhere in the arena.
Soudek with a hat-trick
A little later, the volume was once again located in the SCR block.
Powerplay for Riessersee, Soudek with the cracker from the slot – 2:0.
The Tölz fans knew the methodology of the third SCR goal only too well.
How often has Lubor Dibelka waited near the goal for the right moment to stage one of his team-mates perfectly.
This time Soudek was the beneficiary, also because previously Slezak and Dibelka employed three Tölzer in the gang rounding and thus took them out of the game.
The only drop of bitterness from the SCR point of view: the connection gate of the Tölzer.
Not because Nick Huard completed the hosts' first majority game with a neat crack in the cross corner.
But because the hit fell two seconds before the siren.
Riessersee then became more secure on the target, while the lions tried nimble counterattacks.
So Tyler Ward put the disc on Daniel Allavena's shoulder.
On the side of the white-blue, however, a double majority remained unused despite bizarre scenes in the final seconds.
Full house: More than 4000 spectators wanted to see the derby – including many SCR supporters who had traveled with them.

Bad Tölz continued to try, but because of the injury-related absence of captain Philipp Schlager and top scorer Ludwig Nirschl without the necessary penetrating power.
The SCR by no means succeeded in everything.
But the parade series shone.

Ten minutes before the end, Slezak and Dibelka countered to the goal area, where Derby cracker Soudek shot ice cold for the third time.
Niki Hörmann's Blueliner then let the Tölz team cheer again.
But the final point – keyword parade row – was Dibelka with the Emptynet goal.
