Chelsea, the English Premier League club, announced today the signing of right-back Malo Justo, from Olympique Lyon until June 2030, while keeping him in the French team on loan until the end of the season.
Justo (19 years old), who played for France's U-21 youth team, participated in 15 matches in the French first division this season, after making his way to the starting line-up last season.
The club did not disclose financial details, but Sky Sports said: The deal cost Chelsea coffers 26.3 million pounds, equivalent to 32.60 million dollars.
Justo is the seventh player signed by Chelsea in the winter transfer period after Mikhaylo Modric, Benoit Badiachel, Noni Madueki, Andre Santos and David Fofana, while Joao Felix moved to the London team on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea ranks tenth in the league, ten points behind the Golden Square, and will be a guest on Fulham in the next round of the competition next Friday.
