Borussia Dortmund's Niklas Süle is a real leader. Should BVB become champions, they don't just want to lead the way on the pitch.

Dortmund/Palma – The tight Bundesliga championship race between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund has not yet been decided and BVB are currently lagging behind. Nevertheless, there have recently been more and more statements from the Black and Yellow about a title celebration after the end of the season. After the mayor of Dortmund initially revealed that the city was already planning a championship celebration for BVB, defender Niklas Süle has now also commented on a party in the title case - and even named a specific destination.

BVB star Süle wants to celebrate championship in the "Bierkönig" on Mallorca – and "lead the way"

As Süle revealed in a Sky interview on Tuesday on the sidelines of Dortmund training, he has not yet booked a holiday before the exciting season finale to be on the safe side. "I haven't planned anything from 28 May – with the hope that we'll go to the Bierkönig from my point of view," said the international, referring to the cult restaurant on Schinkenstraße in Mallorca. The discotheque is especially popular with German tourists and is known for party pop music.

"I hope that something big is waiting for us. I hear that this is very much celebrated here," said Süle, who moved from Munich to the Ruhr area before the season. "If I can experience that, I'm someone who wants to lead the way," said the 27-year-old, who is not only a leader as a defender on the pitch. Most recently, he also impressed as a leader in Dortmund's 5-2 thrashing of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Will BVB be champions? Ex-Bayer Süle predicts: "Whoever has the longer breath will deserve to get the thing"

In all seriousness, however, he declared that he would not be satisfied until he had won titles with Dortmund. "I always want to achieve the maximum," said Süle, speaking of "positive pressure. When you're playing for a championship, which you've been fighting for all season, it must be a nice feeling. We want to top it all off and get the job done." However, this also requires a slip-up by FC Bayern, who have already unveiled their new home jersey for the coming season and are one point ahead of the Black and Yellows with two games to go before the end of the season.

Süle, who won a five-time league title with his title rivals before joining BVB, believes that in the end it will be the better nerves that will decide. "It's been finals for five, six, seven weeks, it feels like it. We made one or two mistakes, Bayern too," he said. "If you have the longer staying power, you'll deserve to get it after 34 games." The 27-year-old said he was "incredibly solid, in a good mood, not tense," said the <>-year-old.
