Hapoel Tel Aviv will embark on an 8-day training camp in Germany this year, during which it will hold two training matches, the highlight of which will be a meeting against St. Pauli, at the home stadium of the German team. The Reds hired the services of ONSIDE, which organized the exciting meeting in front of St. Pauli, as part of an 8-day training camp in Germany from 17/7-24/7, which is organized and accompanied by the company's staff and will take place at the Landhotel Schnuck, Schneverdingen complex. After a visit last month by the club's director of football, Chen Sol, it was decided to hold the training camp in Germany this year and hold the intriguing friendly match.
The first match against St. Pauli at the Millerntor Stadium (home stadium of St. Pauli) will take place on July 22 and will begin at 7:15 German time (00:16 Israel time), with the second training opponent to determine a continuation.
Hapoel will hold its training camp on German soil for the second time in history, the only time it held a training camp was in the 2015/2016 season, when it arrived in Berlin where it held four training matches against local Babelsberg (1:2 to Hapoel), Union Berlin (2:0), Red Bull Leipzig (3:0) and the last game was against AEK Athens of Greece (1:1). It should be noted that Hapoel will play for the first time in history against German side St. Pauli and it will be an exciting encounter, the highlight of a long-standing relationship between the fans of both clubs.
Liran Mukhtar, the club's CEO: "We are excited to embark on the training camp in Germany this year and of course ahead of the intriguing encounter against St. Pauli, an important and exciting game for our fans - and we are sure that it will attract a large crowd from both clubs. The training camp is a significant element in the team's preparations for the upcoming season and we believe it will be a professional and productive camp."
