The departure of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid seems to be taking shape. Indeed, according to information revealed by Spanish journalist Sergio Valentin, the "Nueve" should indeed leave the White House at the end of the season... And he is even expected to announce his decision this Thursday afternoon, during a press conference. As a reminder, the Ballon d'Or 2022 is at the end of his contract with the Merengue. It would have recently been the subject of a miraculous offer from Saudi Arabia, and more precisely from Al-Ittihad. The Saudi Pro League club reportedly offered him a two-year lease with a net annual salary of more than €100 million.

According to the information unveiled on Wednesday by AS, the player trained at Olympique Lyonnais was to speak this Thursday with Florentino Pérez, the Madrid president with whom he gets along perfectly well, and with Carlo Ancelotti... probably to evoke its future. White House officials have obviously failed to convince him to win at least one season. With the Merengue, Karim Benzema scored 353 goals and provided 165 assists, 647 matches played in all competitions. He has lifted the Champions League five times (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2022).
