The Iraqi media delegation participating in the Damascus International Fair said that the US threat to impose sanctions on the participants of the sixty-first session of the exhibition in recognition of the defeat of Washington and its terrorist tools in Syria.
The delegation said in a statement today that this threat represents a clear declaration of the failure of the American Zionist and Western reaction and all attempts to use terrorist gangs and mercenary groups, killers and thugs to undermine security and stability and pass the scheme of the division of Syria and end its leading role in resisting the plan to kneel the Arab nation.
The statement pointed out that this threat will not affect the international community, which recognizes that Syria civilization is a beacon of knowledge and creativity and a rare symbol of national sovereignty and independent national decision "rushed to participate in the new session of the exhibition."
The statement noted the participation of countries, companies and economic figures from all continents in the “economic Damascus wedding”, stressing his absolute confidence that Syria, which fought terrorism and its operators and supporters with a rare valor until it won it “will be the compass that defines the geopolitics of the post-imperialist world after its defeat at the walls of Damascus. He fell by all the invaders throughout history. ”
