(CNN) - An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 was recorded this Thursday in the Pacific Ocean, near Oregon, the United States Geological Survey reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injury.
The earthquake occurred around 11:07 am ET about 175 miles west-northwest of the coastal city of Bandon, the agency said.
It took place at a depth of 5.4 kilometers.
