California police who lied about attack fired

A California policeman who lied when he was shot and humiliated his department "lost his job," Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Wednesday. Agent Angel Reinosa, 21, reported being shot while walking to his personal car in front of the sheriff's station on August 21. He said the bullet came from a four-story apartment building across the street that houses people with mental problems, said Mayor R. Rex Parris.
