Lawyer Fayez Al-Shakhatreh, Chairman of the Arab Forum in Jordan, stressed that the Damascus International Fair is a strong proof of Syria's restoration of its central Arab and regional role as one of the main axes of the nation's strength in the face of imperialism, Zionism and reactionary forces.
Shakhatra said in a statement to SANA correspondent in Amman that the Damascus International Fair embodies the strong will and unwavering determination of the Syrian people and demonstrates the determination of this proud people to rebuild what was destroyed by the brutal war on his country.
The Damascus International Fair was opened yesterday in its 61st session under the slogan “From Damascus to the World” with the participation of 1700 local and foreign companies from the public and private sectors representing 38 Arab and foreign countries with bookings exceeding 100,000 square meters for the first time in the history of the exhibition.
