Alexander Kuznetsov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Political Predictions and Settlements in Russia, stressed that the Damascus International Fair contributes to the revival of the Syrian economy and the reconstruction of the country, which was destroyed by terrorist organizations and their sponsors, led by the Americans.
Kuznetsov said in an interview with SANA correspondent in Moscow: "The Damascus International Fair is an important and very useful event for Syria, where businessmen, companies and representatives of different economic sectors from many countries interested in identifying investment opportunities and trade exchange with Syria," pointing out that coercive economic measures The US imposed on Syria is unfair and comes after the failure of its agents to implement its plans.
In a similar interview, the researcher in the Department of Oriental and African Sciences at the Russian Higher School of Economics Leonid Isayev considered that the successes achieved by the Damascus International Fair in its 61st session is very important, noting that the priorities of economic policy for Syria is in the reconstruction of the country, which was destroyed by Terrorist organizations and their external sponsors.
The Russian researcher added that any investment cooperation or economic contracts concluded on the sidelines of this exhibition is an important success for Syria condemning the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on the Syrian people.
He pointed out that the contracts concluded by the Syrian government with friendly foreign companies and others during the exhibition "achieve good returns what would have been done without the Damascus International Fair."
