President Bashar al-Assad met today with a delegation of participants in the 3rd International Trade Union Forum of Solidarity with the Workers and People of Syria held in Damascus.

President al-Assad answered questions and interventions of the audience who expressed their confidence in Syria's victory over terrorism and praised the struggle of the Syrian people to preserve the unity of their country and civilization, affirming their support and stand by the Syrian people in the face of sanctions and the unjust siege imposed by the anti-Syrian countries. They expressed their confidence in the ability of the Syrians, especially the masses of workers, to rebuild their country again to return better than before the war.
