The commander of the Fifth Zone of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Brigadier General Ali Azami has announced the arrest of a ship loaded with Iranian diesel smuggled off the province of Hormozgan in southern Iran.
Azami said in a statement today that "the ship (Lynch) sailed from the port of Lenka overlooking the Gulf bound for the UAE loaded with 250 thousand liters of Iranian diesel," pointing out that the naval forces stopped the ship at a distance of 20 miles east of the island (Greater) and its crew of 11 And sent them to justice.
Last month the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Naval Force Brigadier General Ramadan Zerahi announced the arrest of a foreign ship carrying 700,000 liters of smuggled fuel in the Gulf.
