Daeij pointed out that the committee in charge of studying the publication and propagation of saffron plant met recently in the Ministry of Agriculture with the aim of drawing up the executive plan for the agricultural season 2019-2020, including the number of kormat, places and area in addition to updating the executive matrix to include the material and financial requirements required for each of the three stages of work.

It is worth mentioning that the Saffron Cultivation Project was a great success at Al-Bureij Nursery last year, where flowers were harvested and wild genotypes and laboratory propagation were monitored as part of a 3-year program.
