(CNN Spanish) - El Salvador Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill Tinoco confirmed that an OAS commission will arrive in El Salvador next week to begin fieldwork and lay the groundwork for the implementation of the Cicies.

The announcement was made at a press conference held this Friday in Washington along with OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro.

"We have worked day and night so that this happens in record time and so that we can show Salvadorans and the world that impunity and corruption will not be tolerated in our country ...", said Hill Tinoco.
