(CNN Spanish) - After his disappearance last Thursday, the commander of the Single Command of the Quintana Roo State Police, José Antonio Archi Yama, was found dead this Sunday, Mexican authorities confirmed.

According to the Quintana Roo Prosecutor's Office, the body's finding was reported through a 911 call. According to a prosecutor's statement, experts from different specialties worked on the gathering of evidence and gathering of evidence.
