Earthquake is recorded on the coast of Chile

(CNN Spanish) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was recorded early this morning on the coast of Chile, according to a report by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The tremor was recorded at 4:24 am ET 96 kilometers northwest of Talcahuano, Chile, and had a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the report.

So far there are no reports of affectations.
