Umm Al-Zaytoun Mill in As-Suwayda started today the first stage of receiving the wheat after the completion of the calibration and testing phase of the machines and make sure they are ready.
The director of the mill site, Eng. Nizar Naim, told SANA that this phase includes the delivery of 3 thousand tons of wheat by the Syrian Grain Foundation to the Iranian industrial company Ardmashin specialized in the manufacture of grinding machines executing the project of the mill to be grinded within 10 days and in the event of grinding With a capacity of 300 tons per day within the required Syrian specifications the mill is ready for final receipt.
Naim pointed out that the mother of olive mill comes within five mills contracted by the Syrian Foundation for Grain with the Iranian company to implement a production capacity of 300 tons of wheat per day, while the two silos in the mill can accommodate ten thousand tons of five thousand tons each.
The mill is located in the food and pharmaceutical industries on an area of 50 dunums within the industrial city of Umm Al-Zaitoun.
