Two soldiers of the Turkish army were killed today by detonating an explosive device in their convoy in northern Iraq.
The Turkish Defense Ministry acknowledged in a statement carried by Agence France-Presse that the two soldiers were killed as a result of the explosive device, accusing the PKK militants of planting the device as the convoy passed.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime forces have repeatedly violated the sanctity of Iraqi territory and stationed in late 2015 in the area of Bashiqa near the city of Mosul in northern Iraq, which the Iraqi government confirmed that it constitutes aggression and a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and in violation of the rules of international law and demanded the withdrawal of Turkish troops.
