President Bashar al-Assad received on Monday Ali Asghar Khaji, senior aide to the Iranian Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation.
The Iranian delegation put President al-Assad in the light of the details of the tripartite summit meeting, which included the leaders of Iran, Russia and Turkey a few days ago and what was discussed during the situation regarding Idlib, Al-Jazeera and the constitution discussion committee.
The meeting also dealt with some ideas that could be built upon to hold conferences on the issue of Syrian refugees during the coming period, where President al-Assad stressed the importance of continuing and strengthening constructive coordination between Syria, Iran and Russia on various issues concerning the Syrian issue and the region.
President al-Assad made clear during the meeting that the United States and the West in general have lost their hope to achieve their goals previously planned and what is happening now is a game of depletion of resources and this is the same policy that they are following with Iran on the subject of the nuclear agreement, The files are not only the Syrian file but at the same time we are getting stronger and more efficient.
President al-Assad stressed that the Syrian-Iranian-Russian coordination has completed the committee to discuss the constitution despite all the obstacles and obstacles that the other parties supporting terrorism have tried to impose.However, the mechanism of the committee's work has been finalized.
For his part, Khaji stressed that coordination and consultation with the Syrian leadership is continuing and will develop over the coming period again the Iranian leadership's appreciation for the achievements of the Syrian Arab Army on the ground.
Khaji stressed that Iran continues to support Syria and its leadership in the various political stations ahead to ensure the safety, stability and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and preserve its sovereignty.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Buthaina Shaaban, Political and Media Advisor at the Presidency, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, and Ayman Raad, Director of Asia Department at the Foreign Ministry.
