The branch of the General Establishment for Seed Propagation in As-Suwayda handed over the branches of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Shahba, Salkhad and Al-Qarya with about 350 tons of sifted and sterilized wheat seeds for delivery to farmers.
The Director of Seed Propagation Branch, Eng. Wael Al-Taweel, told SANA today that the sale of seeds through the Agricultural Bank branches is either in cash or under a loan for the holders of the documents of the agricultural organization in addition to continuing the direct sale also from the warehouses of the branch.
Al-Taweel pointed to the continuation of the branch of seed multiplication screening and sterilization of wheat seed received for the current season, where the quantities sifted from them to secure the needs of the agricultural plan to date about 450 tons.
The branch of the General Organization for Multiplication of Seed opened this month the door to contract with farmers to cultivate areas of wheat varieties "Sham three" and "always one" for the current season in order to implement the production plan.
