DAMASCUS, (SANA) - The First Session of the Career Counseling and Entrepreneurship Center of the Syrian Ministry of Labor concluded today

The first session of the Career Counseling and Entrepreneurship Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor concluded today under the title (Kvito and Veto) within the framework of training programs to support and enable the demobilized to serve science.

According to the director of the Center for Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship, Razan Al-Hamwi, the course was aimed at Fifty young theaters of science service, which included training on skills and basic information to enter the labor market, noting that the course is a first step will be followed by specialized training courses within the work environment.

Al-Hamwi pointed out that the ministry is networking with public and private bodies to follow up the enabling activities of those admitted to the program of supporting and empowering the demobilized to serve the flag launched by the Council of Ministers on the 10th of February.

In turn, Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Yasser Al-Ahmad stressed the importance of partnership between the ministry and the private sector institutions in various fields, especially training and sustainable rehabilitation to facilitate youth access to the labor market.

For his part, the CEO of Syria International Islamic Bank, Bashar Al-Sitt, pointed out that the course, which was held in cooperation with the bank, aims to train the demobilized and refine their skills and qualify them to be able to find suitable job opportunities, which is the least that can be offered to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army who sacrificed for the return of security and safety to Syrian.

The graduate of the College of Education, Mohammed Al-Ahmed, one of the beneficiaries of the course that it provided him with the basic skills, including the mechanism of writing a CV and conducting the interview, while Obeida Almchouh noted the services provided by the Center for Career Guidance and Entrepreneurship, which would support young people with skills that help facilitate their access to the labor market. After his release, he is now pursuing his university studies in the Legal Studies Department at Damascus University.

Walid Tafoor, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics, pointed out that the course is a good start for the development of general skills and it is necessary to follow up with specialized courses according to the educational qualifications of the beneficiaries.
