[Reuters, Tokyo, 2]-Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshiyoshi Tsuji stated that one of the two ballistic missiles launched by North Korea appeared to have fallen into Japan's exclusive economic zone off Shimane Prefecture.
According to the secretary of the secretary of the government, one shot fell outside Japan's exclusive economic zone around 7:17 am on the same day. The other shot fell at 7:27 am on the Japan Sea off Shimane Prefecture and into Japan's exclusive economic zone.

The Japan Coast Guard issued a navigation warning and called attention to ships navigating nearby.
