(CNN) - Harley Quinn is having a girls night, in his own way.
In the new trailer for "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)," DC's insane and dynamic lady has just separated from her boyfriend, the Joker, and is looking for "a new beginning."
That naturally leads to chaos, destruction and very bad behavior. Only this time, Harley, played by Margot Robbie, is accompanied by some ladies.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya) and Ella Jay Basco (Cassandra Cain) complete their team in the new Warner Bros. Pictures film (CNN and Warner Bros. share the parent company WarnerMedia).
Ewan McGregor intervenes as the villain of the Batman universe, Black Mask. Chris Messina also appears in the movie.
Jared Leto played Joker in 2016's "Suicide Squad." The movie starring Joaquin Phoenix, "Joker," will be released in theaters later this week and is said to be unrelated to the other DC comic films distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
