Iraqi security forces today destroyed nine dens of ISIS terrorists in the eastern province of Diyala.
Sabah al-Nu'man, a spokesman for the Iraqi counterterrorism agency, told SANA's correspondent in Baghdad that "the first special operations forces in the service carried out searches and raids in the mountains of Hamrin in Diyala province resulted in the destruction of hideouts of the terrorist organization."
Al-Nouman added that the force destroyed all the different equipment and materiel in the dens.
Earlier in the day, Iraqi forces killed five terrorists, including an ISIS leader, during operations in the Hamrin mountains.
