Measures that restrict political asylum are not yet approved

The United States still does not define whether it will decide to restrict political asylum to immigrants who wish to cross the border with Mexico. President Donald Trump has tried to promote two measures in order to reduce the flow of migration to the country. In this case, the Federal Court of Appeals heard the defense lawyers of immigrants, who sued those measures, and the lawyers of the Government. Thus, one of the rules is that migrants wait in Mexico until their cases are resolved after they have applied for asylum. The Court has not disclosed the official response.
