The Prisoners 'and Editors' Affairs Authority has warned of the deterioration of the health conditions of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention centers, who are threatened by slow death due to deliberate medical negligence and the lack of treatment.
In a statement released by WAFA, the authority said that 10 prisoners in Israeli detention are suffering from very serious and complicated health conditions. The most serious cases of detention in the occupation.
The committee pointed out that there are three prisoners who are on hunger strike and are living in a disturbing and dangerous health conditions.
The Commission called on the international community and human rights, humanitarian and legal institutions to intervene immediately to save the lives of prisoners who are sick in Israeli detention and release them.
Around 6,000 Palestinian prisoners are facing harsh detention conditions in the Israeli Occupation Forces. Some 1,800 of them are suffering from various diseases due to the spread of epidemics and germs.
