Vitaly Naumkin, scientific director of the Russian Oriental Institute, said that Russia's priority is to stress the need to respect the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
In an interview with a SANA correspondent in Moscow today, Naomkin said that the United States and Turkey violate Syria's sovereignty by occupying areas there.
Noamkin criticized the Turkish aggression on Syrian territory, calling on the Turkish regime to implement its obligations as one of the guarantors of the Astana process.
He pointed out that the use of what is known as the Adana Agreement is the best to ensure the security of the border between Syria and Turkey and the latter must abide by it if it wants to maintain its security.
