The Public Institution for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakeh started pumping water from the Alouk station in Ras Al-Ain area which feeds the city of Al-Hasakeh after supplying the backup electricity generating sets, while the 66kV power line linking the electricity transmission station in Darbasiyah and Alouk water station has been repaired.

SANA correspondent said that the maintenance workshops at the Water Establishment started pumping water to feed the city of Al-Hasakah after it delivered today a quantity of fuel in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent to operate the power generating sets in the station.

In a related context, General Manager of Hasake Electricity Company, Eng. Anwar Al-Okleh, told the reporter that the workshops of the General Electricity Company of Hasakeh in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent teams managed to repair the transmission line of electricity (66 KV) linking the Al-Derbasiyah and Al-Aluk water plants. Damaged as a result of shelling by the Turkish occupation forces since the first hours of the aggression.

Since the ninth of this month, the Turkish army has launched aggression against a number of towns, villages and towns in the countryside of Al-Hasakah and Raqqa, resulting in the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, including children, women and workers in the service sectors, and significant material damage in service facilities and important infrastructure such as dams, power stations and water.
