German Deputy Speaker Claudia Roth called on the European Union to end the "refugee agreement" with the Turkish regime against the backdrop of its aggression on Syrian territory.
In March 2016, the Turkish regime and the European Union signed an agreement to send refugees who crossed the border into Greece quickly to Turkey for temporary protection status.
"If Europe wants to be credible, it must abandon this illegal agreement," she told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
The Turkish regime has launched an aggression against a number of towns, villages and towns in the countryside of al-Hasakah and Raqqa, which resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, including children, women and workers in the service sectors, and significant material damage in service facilities and important infrastructure such as dams, power plants and water.
