Eminem is one of the most famous rappers in the world - and sharp critic of Donald Trump: As it became known, the Secret Service dealt with allegedly threatening lyrics of the musician.

At least since October 2017, it should be very clear what Marshall Mathers, better known under his pseudonym Eminem, holds by Donald Trump: little to nothing. At that time, a video appeared in which the musician worked his way up to the US president for four minutes. "We love our country - but we hate Trump!" Is one of the lines.

As it turns out, this song was also seen in US security circles. The Secret Service staff, who were responsible for the protection of the President and his family, looked more closely at text lines in the song "Framed", which also appeared in 2017.

In it Eminem invents a scenario in which Ivanka Trump is in the trunk of his car. Shortly after, he explains that "the stupid little blonde girl" was "landed in a pond" ("got dumped in a pond").

Such fantasies of violence were found in earlier songs of the artist, if not against the presidential daughter. In this case, however, the Secret Service was noisy. However, apparently not by itself. According to government documents that buzzfeed.com has sighted and partially published, there was previously a hint. This came from the gossip and celebrity site TMZ. An employee had therefore inquired in an email to the Secret Service, whether this "efforts against Eminem would make an effort".

The authorities actually did that in December 2017. The suspicion, according to the documents: Eminem show "inappropriate behavior" and "threatens the guardian", so Ivanka Trump. It is also not the first time that Mathers in his texts against the Trump family is concerned - here is the reference to the video from October 2017.

Apparently, the investigators took the threats of the fictional character Eminem so literally that they began a personal interview with the artist Marshall Mathers. According to Buzzfeed, this took place on 16 January 2018 in the presence of Mather's lawyers. The content of this conversation, after all two log pages, is not public.

The investigation against Eminem were discontinued

However, the records document that Mathers "coined" the lines of text when a secret service man read them. In addition, the investigators had talked to him about fan mail and "threats or strange interests" in this context.

Two days later, the conversation with Mathers was then once again discussed in an internal meeting of the Secret Service. There they decided to let the case rest.

Eninem, for his part, did not miss the chance to comment on the conversation in public. In the song "The Ringer" of 2018 it says about Trump: "Agent Orange has sent me the Secret Service / To come out, if I really want to hurt him / Or if I have something to do with terrorists / I said: ' Only when it comes to ink and poets' ".
