Turkish authorities today issued arrest warrants for 53 people and arrested 39 of them on the pretext of links to the preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom Erdogan's regime accuses of being behind the July 2016 coup attempt.
The Anatolia news agency quoted security sources as saying that the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Ankara issued arrest warrants for 53 people on charges of using a correspondence application used by the Gulen Organization arrested 39 of them during raids.
