Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri said this evening that what is happening in Lebanon requires dialogue between the Lebanese components and an immediate calm.

For his part, Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Elie Farzli expressed fear that there will be intentions in Lebanon and that there are those who want to push things into chaos, calling for the opening of roads as soon as possible within 24 hours.

In turn, the Central Council of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon stressed in a statement this evening the need to maintain the trilogy of the army and the people and the resistance and separation between the national political side and the reformist side and the formation of a new government after the resignation of the current government.

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri submitted his resignation from the government earlier today to Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
