In turn, the Central Council of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon stressed in a statement this evening the need to maintain the trilogy of the army and the people and the resistance and separation between the national political side and the reformist side and the formation of a new government after the resignation of the current government.
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri submitted his resignation from the government earlier today to Lebanese President Michel Aoun.
