Many Lebanese citizens expressed their indignation and anger at the continued blocking of roads and their inability to reach their jobs and prevent them from providing for their livelihood, while the roads were closed by demonstrators protesting the living conditions for thirteen days.

Lebanese citizens, in remarks reported by the Lebanese National News Agency, expressed their fears "of a conspiracy against Lebanon, as happened in neighboring countries where the movements started with peaceful slogans and then moved to take up arms."

There were no apparent clashes between demonstrators and a group of people who tried to pass at the Ring Bridge near the government offices in Beirut.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Minister of Health Jamil Jibak pointed out in a press conference today that medical staff and administrators do not have access to their work centers and there are teams working throughout the day and we can not change them. From customs and if they are cleared we cannot deliver them to remote areas.

He pointed out that cars transporting medicines to a number of areas were broken and that the Ministry of Health, which owns 50 health care centers, started to lose medicines in addition to a shortage of fuel oil in hospitals.

The Lebanese Minister of Health pointed out that there are about 2,000 cancer patients who are unable to receive their medicines as a result of blocking roads, revealing that some of those who cut off roads extort citizens.

Protests continued in all areas of Lebanon today to demand better living conditions and prevent the imposition of new taxes and accountability of corrupt amid warnings of the continued closure of roads.
