Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri renewed the call for unity and dialogue among the Lebanese, considering that Lebanon "does not bear more risks economically and financially."
The Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) said Berri called during the meeting Wednesday to accelerate the formation of a new government in Lebanon and open the roads, expressing at the same time his fear of "the start of international pressure on Lebanon."
Earlier in the day, Lebanese President General Michel Aoun accepted the resignation of the Lebanese government, presented by Saad Hariri yesterday following the 14 days of popular demonstrations against the deteriorating living conditions.
