The service directorates in Quneitra have completed a number of projects since the return of security and stability to the governorate last year with the aim of improving the reality of services provided to citizens and ensuring their stability in their areas and villages and upgrading the reality of development in the province.

In this regard, the Ministerial Committee for Enterprise Development in the southern region discussed today the rates of completion of service projects in Kenitra during a meeting with the managers of service institutions in the governorate building.

The director of the drinking water foundation in Quneitra, Engineer Amin Al-Shamali, said that most of the wells and lines of drinking water networks, pumping stations and drinking water tanks have been rehabilitated by 90 percent in the governorate and about 95 percent in displaced communities in Damascus countryside.

Quneitra Health Director Dr. Awad Al-Ali pointed out that a number of health centers have been rehabilitated with implementation rates of 100 percent, while completion rates in Al-Thiabiyya center are about 80 percent, indicating that health services are provided to citizens in villages where health centers have been destroyed by terrorism. The Director of Agriculture Hussein Sallan that the completion rates of the project to reclaim quarantine land exceeded 100 percent, where the reclamation of about 1000 acres in the countryside, while the Director of Education Imad al-Asaad to pay financial dues for the rehabilitation and maintenance of a number of schools and to complete the work in others.

Chairman of the Ministerial Committee and Minister of State for the Development of Southern Region Projects Eng. Rafi Abu Saad pointed out during the meeting the government's interest in the service and development projects in Quneitra.

After the meeting, which was attended by Minister of State for Investment Eng. Wafika Hosni and Assistant to the Minister of Local Administration and Environment Eng. Louay Mapa and the Governor of Quneitra Eng. Hammam Dibayat, the committee reviewed the progress of the project Ghabatha wood, which irrigates more than 25 thousand people in the province.
