Protests, clashes and repression in Bolivia

Violence spreads and the demand is repeated in Bolivia: "that elections be repeated." Thousands of people continue to refuse to recognize the questioned victory of Evo Morales. The United Nations expressed concern about the serious acts of violence that are reported and called for reducing tension and respecting rights and freedoms. The acts of protest occur throughout the country. Luis Fernando Camacho, president of the Pro-Santa Cruz Civic Committee referred to the situation in his city.
