In turn, Eng. Nidal Al-Qouja, director of the Syrian branch of grain in Homs, said in a similar statement that putting the aforementioned railway branch under investment provides for the transfer of about two thousand tons per day of grain, which is equivalent to one thousand tons per year. Since 2017, it has reduced shipping costs, reduced time and saved 300,000 liters of diesel fuel in addition to preserving roads and the environment.Almost 200,000 tons of grain has been transported since its inception, which was shipped by automobile.
It is noteworthy that 300 tons were transported as a first batch of grain through the branch of the Homs silo unit when it was launched two days ago.
