Members of the initiative “Hands off Syria” during a protest in front of the European Union building in the Austrian capital Vienna today rejected their condemnation and condemnation of all forms of siege and unilateral coercive economic measures against Syria.
In a statement delivered to the European Commission, the participants condemned the unfair economic measures against the Syrian people, demanding an end to the siege against them, an end to all forms of support for terrorists with money and weapons, and stop sending them to Syria to carry out their aggressive operators' plans.
The statement pointed to the policy of double standards adopted by the European Union by imposing unjust and systematic economic measures against the Syrian people eight years ago, which caused further suffering and striking infrastructure. And demanding an end to the policy of economic blockade completely.
