The head of the Turkish Republican People's Party (KPI), Kemal Kilicdaroglu, stressed that the West is using Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a tool in implementing his colonial plans in Syria and the region.
Speaking at a meeting of his party's parliamentary bloc today, Kılışdaroglu said Erdogan had made serious strategic mistakes in Syria.
Kilicdaroglu asserted that Erdogan did not fight the Islamic State terrorist organization in Syria, pointing to his hypocrisy policy. He constantly talks about the unity of Syria, but everything he did and did does not.
Kilicdaroglu said Erdogan had pursued individual authoritarian policies, noting that he had wiped out democracy in Turkey and was afraid of US President Donald Trump, who personally insulted and threatened him in his letter but did not respond for fear of revealing the secrets of his personal wealth.
In a statement to reporters in Ankara on Wednesday, Kilicdaroglu stressed that Erdogan's policies towards Syria and the Middle East in general went bankrupt because he did not pursue national policies but was always in the service of Washington within the framework of the Greater Middle East Project.
