MOSCOW - Syria and Russia have renewed their call on the international community to pressure the United States to force it to do something else

Moscow-Sana

Syria and Russia renewed their call on the international community to pressure the United States to force it to completely remove its occupied forces from Syria.

A joint statement by the Syrian and Russian coordinating bodies on the return of displaced Syrians today said that Syria and Russia “urge the entire international community to pressure the United States, which continues to violate international law by its presence in the illegally occupied Syrian territory, and to oblige it to withdraw its forces fully from the sovereign Syrian Arab Republic. ”.

In a related context, the statement pointed out that the United States refuses to provide security guarantees for the United Nations mission to participate in the transfer of displaced persons held in the camp, which impedes the removal of the camp and end the tragedy of thousands of families there and return them to areas free of terrorism.

The two bodies demanded on several occasions the US side to leave the occupied Syrian territories immediately, stressing that the United States thwarted the plan to evict civilians from the Rukban camp due to non-fulfillment of its obligations in this regard and to keep the camp as a human shield to continue its occupation of Al-Tanf area.
